My name is Todd Davis. I'm 38 years old, married, father of a gorgeous three year old daughter, and stepfather to two wonderful kids that college aged. When I'm not coding (which isn't often) I enjoy riding my Harley, working in my woodshop, or catching a great movie in the theatre.

I've been programming since I was 13 years old. I started out on a Radio Shack TRS-80 which used a tape recorder for storage. I learned to program in BASIC and Assembly Launguage. When I got a little older I learned to program in C\C++, Pascal, COBOL, and some other fun things. During the last five years or so, I got heavily involved in Web Programming, learning ASP and javascript, as well as some cgi, Perl and PHP, and Flash scripting.

Today I stick mostly with VB.NET (I'm fluent in C# however) and do a little C++ now and then to code video games. I personally believe that .NET, DotNetNuke and Open Source software are my own personal saviours, and I will be happy to dicuss them anytime, anywhere.

I strongly encourage all programmers to "give back to the community" whenever you can. I don't begrudge anyone from making a living selling code, components and applications - but when you can, help out the next guy down the line as well. When we all work together, we are all a success.

Today I work for Ceridian as a Webmaster/Developer, and have heavily modified the DotNetNuke framework to serve as an internal knowledgebase within our company. I'm currently studying to pass the MCAD certification tests so that I can label myself as "legit".

If anyone out there is independently wealthy and would like to send me a new DELL XPS as a thank you for the free resoures - I won't stop you. :)
