  Welcome to Seabury Design

Welcome to Seabury Design. This website is a repository for all the "little projects" that I have coded and shared with the community over the years. Here you will find custom DotNetNuke modules, applications, custom classes and code snippets, as well as any other useful information or resources I might come across.

Please take some time to peruse the website and find what you need, or share with the community on the forums. Thanks for visiting.

  Announcements
Minnesota Bound! - Friday, August 03, 2007
It is a very exciting time around here lately. My wife recently accepted a position with Vital Images, a medical imaging company located in Minnesota. This is a huge career opportunity for her, but of course, it means we need to move! We will be moving out there on August 27th, never to return to PA again. If anyone has any good job leads in the MN area, let me know, as I'm in the market!
You know you are famous when... - Monday, January 09, 2006

Andy Warhol once said that everyone will be famous for 15 minutes - well, start your stopwatches folks. I would like to personally thank the fine developers from MarkedsPartner in Norway for making my day. No, I didn't get that Dell XPS yet, but they gave me the next best thing - they made me into an MSN messenger icon.

Thomas KjĂžniksen, next time you find yourself in the USA, please stop by - I'll buy you an authentic Philly Cheesesteak.

PLEASE READ - Tuesday, September 06, 2005

Thank you for visiting SeaburyDesign.com! Ever since I released the free videos that teach DotNetNuke module programming, this website's traffic has increased exponentially. Some of you are looking for more videos, or new modules, or news on the many tools that have been released or announced in the past. I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful it is to have so touched many lives, and given people the tools they need to improve their experience with DotNetNuke.

My daily email inbox is still flooded with questions, comments, complaints, job offers and suggestions on a daily basis. Try as I might, I simply cannot keep up with the sheer volume of email that keeps coming in. If you have written to me and not received a reply, please do not feel that I have been ignoring you - more than likely, I simply ran out of time to answer, and your letter "fell through the cracks".

In order to help allieviate the problem, I respectfully request that if you have a problem or question pertaining to module development, (even my own modules), that you post it on the DotNetNuke forums where thousands of people can evaluate and respond to your questions instead of just "little 'ol me". Everything I've released thus far has been free and open source, so you should have access to the code and be able to fix it yourself if it is broken.

Those wishing to send me a "thank you" for the videos are still welcome and encouraged to do so. Donations, no matter how small, are also appreciated.

To answer the question everyone keeps asking - what is next? Well, I currently changing job duties at work, and currently my coding with DNN is on hold until I get more settled. I will release new tools, videos and updates as soon as get some free time to do so.

I had the privledge of speaking with the Philly.NET DNN SIG last evening. I wanted to thank all the members of the SIG for coming with open minds and great questions. Thanks also to Bill Wollf and Hal Dell for sponsoring and arranging the event, and to Shaun Walker for making a "special appearance" via telephone. It was a great evening, and I had a great time meeting everyone.
